How to Change DNS for Your Domain?

How to Change DNS for Your Domain?

Upon setting up your website with a hosting provider, you are required to update the nameserver records associated with your domain name. This step ensures proper resolution of your domain to the new hosting environment. The necessary nameserver settings will be provided by your hosting provider.

To change the DNS on your domain:

Once you are signed in, navigate to My Domains.

Select or enter domains, then click Change DNS.

Select one type and click "Confirm and Submit" to update the NS.

Default DNS

The default settings for NameMart nameservers are:

ns1.domainnamens.com

ns2.domainnamens.com

You can also set your custom DNS as default NS.

Custom DNS

To add custom nameservers to your domain:

Once you are signed in, navigate to My Domains.

Select or enter domains, then enter nameservers and click " confirm and Submit".

Smart DNS

If you want to use third-party NS, click Custom DNS.

Smart DNS will automatically assign DNS based on the domain registrar.

Please note:

If successful: new DNS settings will take effect within 0-48 hours.

If failed: verify the DNS format is correct. Contact customer support if issues persist.
